2. Međunarodni sastanak konzorcija “Family in gymnastics- Famnastics”/ 2 nd Transnational Meeting of the consortium of the Erasmus + project “Family in gymnastics – Famnastics”

Last weekend from 17 th to 19 th, the 2nd Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus + project consortium of the “Family in Gymnastics-Famnastics”  was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The topic of the meeting was the Research Report of the results of research in partner countries (Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia) on gymnastic recreational programs that include joint gymnastic exercise of adults and the youngest (3-6 years) population. At the same time, the report contained examples of best practice observed and recorded in partner countries and in comparison with other EU countries. The meeting lasted two working days. The first day was spent discussing the current situation as well as the phases of the project in which sports experts analyzed what had been done in previous period. On the second day, the Research Report was presented as well as examples of Good practice through the completed methodology and statistical information. The Research report as well as examples of good practice of the consortium countries were defined as the basis for the development of the pilot project module, which will become the task of the consortium in the coming months. The next meeting is planned for April 2022 in Novi Sad, Serbia, when the implementation of the “Family in gymnastics – Famnastics” program will begin. The conclusion of the meeting is that there is no similar project in the partner countries and that “Family in gymnastics – Famnastics” is a unique project in which the older population practices gymnastics together with the younger population which brings numerous benefits from health habits and way of living to social inclusion, connecting whole families through gymnastics.
