Project Summary

Project supports the mobility of volunteers, coaches, managers and staff of non-profit sports organizations through the organization of non-formal education for coaches and staff of sports clubs (within Transnational project meetings), all with the aim of organizing and implementing new recreational gymnastics programs for children and family members (parents, guardians, and even older family members – grandparents).

The main objectives are:

1. Support the mobility of volunteers and coaches, managers and staff of non-profit sports organizations through the organization of non-formal education for coaches and staff of sports clubs (within Transnational project meetings), all with the aim of organizing and implementing new recreational gymnastics programs for children and family members (parents, guardians, and even older family members – grandparents).
2. Create an exercise program in which children aged 3-6 years will practice with their parents and even grandparents accompanied and guided by an expert.
3. Encourage social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, understanding, integration and respect for others through sport.

Target groups are:

1. Coaches and staff of sport clubs
2. Young children of kindergarten age (3-6), who are just in the right age to be introduced in the active lifestyle, as the results of introduction to sports has far greater results of creating a habit of an active life
3. Parents/Grandparent/Guardians who are present on sports activities of the children, and creating a fun and exciting way for them to get involved in active lifestyle.

The Famnastics project consortium consists of a group of highly-qualified sport club (Marjan Gymnastics Club) and umbrella organisations (The Falcon Association “Vojvodina” Novi Sad and Slovenian Gymnastics Federation) that have experience and knowledge to meet the challenges of the project. The partnership is composed of 2 organisations from 2 EU countries (Cro and Slo) and 1 Non EU Programme Country (Serbia).
